Today I checked out the top 100 interior design blogs and found a few that just really stuck with me and gave me a bunch of new creative ideas. If you are an interior designer it's really important that you have a blog because they help you get your style out and get the point across. The first blog I visited was call Mental Clutter Cleanup and I just had to read it over when I read the title. Who doesn't feel like there's too much stuff flying through their minds sometimes? The blog was actually useful because it offers a simple, easy way to eliminate all paper clutter around your computer. In this day and age we are lucky enough to have these technological devices such as computers that have Google Docs on them so now we can take physical paper notes and type them up to Google Docs and immediately get rid of the sheet of paper, why didn't I think of this? The second blog was called Padstyle. Padstyle gave many types of interior design but I stuck to modern because it's more my style, but if you like other styles check the website out. The modern section showed a couple of cool things like the bed with the padded bench at the end but a majority of it was paintings and I'm not huge in on the paintings so I lost interest right away. The final blog I read was called Tiny-Ass Apartment and the title struck me because I live in a tiny ass apartment and so I needed to see what they did to save and make space knowing I could probably piggy back off of their ideas and I was right! There were 2 huge things that popped out at me, one was using pop tabs on you hangers so you can connect another hanger to the other hanger such as the picture below. The second thing was instead of having just one main table in the living room, to have 2 small ones that way there's less space taken up and they're easier to maneuver. This blog was by far my favorite because I could connect with it the most and I could use those ideas. Two of the coolest trends I saw were bright color schemes and rooms that were organized but still a little messy like so. After looking through all of these home interior design blogs my best advice is to look for a blog that really relates to the project you're working on.
